In August 2020, the Amazonia 2.0 project continued to develop its activities remotely and to support Amazonian communities affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, through various actions in the project's implementation countries.

Among the regional activities that stand out this month are: the V internal work session held on August 13, by The Amazon Team Suriname; the III Virtual Seminar open to the public on "The role of strategic communication in nature conservation: Experiences in South America", held on August 26; and a work day with all the current regional consultants of the project on August 28.
